About me

I'm an artist and nurse with a lifelong love for creativity. I started young, sketching cartoons and creating playful illustrations, which led to a passion for caricatures. Over time, my creative path expanded into bold, expressive abstract painting. My work is all about colour, emotion, and storytelling — and I’m so glad to share it with you.

My work

My art moves between bold, expressive abstracts and playful, character-driven caricatures. In my abstract work, I explore emotion and movement through rich colour, layered texture, and intuitive form. In contrast, my caricatures bring a sense of fun and personality, capturing the essence of a face with exaggerated charm. While the styles differ, both celebrate creativity, storytelling, and a deep love of visual expression.

This section features a mix of original artworks and commissioned pieces — each one uniquely created with care, colour, and character. To purchase my original works, head to Bluethumb.com.au

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you take commissions?

Yes! I love creating custom pieces. I offer both abstract paintings and caricature illustrations, depending on what you're after.

Q: How do I request a commission?

Just send me a message via my website or Instagram with a few details — what kind of piece you’re after, size, colours, and any ideas you have. I’ll guide you through the rest!

Q: How much does a commission cost?

Prices vary based on size, style, and complexity. Once I know what you're looking for, I’ll provide a quote. No surprises!

Q: How long does it take?

Timeframes can vary depending on my current schedule and the type of artwork. Abstracts usually take 2–4 weeks, and caricatures 1–2 weeks. If you have a deadline, let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Q: What’s the process like?

Once we’ve locked in the details, I’ll take a 50% deposit to secure your spot. With caricature commissions, I'll send you my initial sketch and any changes are required then. For abstract pieces, I aim to get the 'feel' of the image right and I’ll send you progress updates along the way. The final balance is due before delivery or pickup.

Q: Can I request changes?

Yes — small adjustments are welcome, though earlier is better! For larger or later changes, there may be an added fee depending on the scope.

Q: Do you ship?

Yes, I can safely package and post anywhere. Shipping costs will be included in your final quote.

Q: What mediums do you use?

My abstract works are created with acrylics on canvas, often layered with texture. Caricatures are hand-drawn digitally and printed to a maximum A3 size.

Q. Do you offer framing?

Most of my canvases come pre-framed, which would be included in your final price. I don't personally make frames, so any framing request of unframed work would be at an extra cost. My caricture commissions all come unframed.
